I was directly responsible and accountable to the Department Manager for the day- to day operations of the front and back desk, in multiple departments. Utilizes problem-solving skills to resolve skills to resolve department issues and concerns including complaints and meet the needs of each patient. Works with the back office staff to complement and assure the smooth operations of the department and each position’s practice. Responsible for attending meetings as appropriate, communicating information back to front and back office staff and providing training when needed, also responsible for orienting and training new front office staff as well as ongoing training for current front office staff. Work with department Manager to assure that the front and back desk is operating in accordance with policy and procedures including department dress code, assist the Manager in interviewing, counseling and performance evaluations of the patient Services Reports (PSR). Assist with implementation of new policies and procedures. Responsible for scheduling front office staff including rest and meal breaks, monitor and delegates the working of the MSR reports, completing within the designated time period.
