Subject:

Dear Sir / Madam:

As my resume illustrates, I have served as a senior-level administrator in a diverse range of community-based nonprofit and governmental public health, economic development, affordable housing, and human services environments. You will likely notice a gap in my recent work history due to changes in executive leadership and organizational restructuring. This factor, combined with the pandemic’s impact on the economy and job market, has made my search for a new professional opportunity challenging. However, I remain eager to continue on in my work life and was existed to learn about the above referenced position because it seems to fit well with my administrative and managerial qualifications and experiences.

I have effectively worked and collaborated with governing boards of directors, local community and consumer organizations, municipal officials, private and public funding and regulatory agencies, and business partners to promote and advance the social and economic interests and sustainable quality of life residents of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

My educational background includes a bachelor and master’s degree in Business Administration and Public Affairs, respectively. I have also received advanced professional development training at Harvard University’s John F. Kennedy School of Government and at Harvard University’s School of Business Hauser Center for Executive Education and Nonprofit Organizations.

Your consideration of my request to meet and discuss my qualifications and to learn more about this opportunity is appreciated. My contact information is at the top of this letter and attached resume. I look forward to your response.

Sincerely,

Kenneth Spicer
