I am currently employed at Al Rams Prime Construction as senior quantity surveyor in Dubai. I am a qualified quantity surveyor professional with more than ten years experience in both pre and post contracts with civil and MEP. Over the past ten plus years, I have worked in hospitality, residential, educational, healthcare, infrastructure and utilities including landscaping projects and currently working predominantly in residential

deployments. Whilst I am particularly strong in change management, monthly cost report and monthly project valuation, have considerable experience in cost analysis reports, contract administration, BOQ preparation, estimation, claims, project management and civil engineering. I am also familiar with electronic measurement programs including Plan Swift and communication tools such as Aconex and PMweb.

• Supervising timely assessment and issuance of payment application as part of the interim valuation process.

• Preparing the draft final statement upon receiving the defect liability certificate towards assessing the Contractor final statement.

• Maintain and manage the cost report and provide regular updates on financial position to commercial manager

• Assist in the development, validation, and maintenance of the project schedule

• Support the coordination of the variation process for the project

• Reviewing contractor and subcontractor pricing and leading negotiations on behalf of the commercial team to drive fair contract prices.

• Performing quantity surveying, cost controls and variation activities throughout the project life cycle.

• Carrying out the production of monthly cost reports for presentation to the commercial team.

• Ensuring that final accounts are negotiated and agreed in a timely manner

• Preparing and implementing commercial procedures and producing forms and templates.
