Additional Information
I have worked in a wide range of jobs including, housekeeping, babysitting, hotel housekeeping, cashier, waitress, worked with pets (cleaning,feeding, walking, etc, worked with elderly in nursing home, hospitals, and home health care, and many other things. I also have taken care of my mother in law in her home who had full blown sepsis all through her body and MRSA. She was in the hospital in Greenville NC twice in ICU over a period of 2 months. I also assisted her in going back and forth to the infusion center in Greenville to get her antibiotics through a picc line. She also had drainage tubes that I cleaned and emptied the lines with saline injections the Dr. Sent home with us everyday and documented the percentage of fluids that drained out. I also assisted her with all her other needs such as medication reminders, housekeeping, cooking, helping with bathing, walking, and any other needs she had. She is well now and is no longer having to go to infusion center, if she would not have had the help that I provided she would have ended up in a nursing home until she was able to do these things on her own as she is able to now. I have experience working as a CNA in a nursing home setting under a occupational, physical, and speech therapist as an aide. I assisted in transporting, using lifts and other equipment, I helped patients with range of motion excercises, I did bathing, dressing, walking, transferring from bed to wheelchair and vice versa among amoung other responsibilities. I also worked as a home health aide and did housekeeping, bathing, cooking, bousekeeping, medication reminders, as well as other duties.
