Job Responsibilities:
Acting as the main technical advisor on a construction site for sub-contractors, crafts people and operatives.
Studying and analyzing architectural & structural drawings.
Setting out site, leveling & surveying the site.
Execute all civil works as per shop or working drawings & specifications.
Checking of site inspection reports for various works as per approved construction drawing and site verification works executed by the contractor.
Preparing all bar bending schedule as per the structural drawing.
Responsible for all finishing activities such as but not limited to block work & plastering, false ceiling, Gypsum walls & painting tiling & marble work & parquet flooring.
Closely monitor project activities, progress of work, deal with client/its representative, consultants and discuss issues that cause delay of work at site.
Make ensure that all the materials used are all to the specification.
Follow-up for material (timely) submission & approvals, procurement schedule to avoid delays.
Examining invoices as per purchase orders.
Prepare site activity plans as per schedule and monthly progress reports to management
Ensure compliance to requirements & introduce competitive economic solutions to issues.
Attend all technical co-ordination meetings and check all deliverables before submission.
Do all related task as directed by Construction Manager.
Preparation of Bill of Quantities (BOQ) & taking of quantities of area (Civil from drawings).
Inspection with the consultant & authority & obtaining the required approvals.
Preparation of QS report and monthly cash flow.
Assist and co-ordinate with Senior QS and contract manager in all related duties.
