Receiving inspection of fabricated steel structures, Raw material inspection, material traceability verification, material storage, handling inspection Etc. and co-ordination with client at all stages.

Daily surveillance inspection at site verifying the quality requirements & inspections were carried out as per approved inspection test plan & project quality procedures.
Inspect structure with reference to various tolerances and specifications and also ensure usage of appropriate Material sections, Fasteners and Consumables being used.
Carrying out Structural fabrication and inspections of various Pipe supports like Beams, Angles, Plates, flats, Channels as per Standards and requirement.
Resolving Technical discrepancies arised on Site in consultation with seniors.
Issuing Punch list on job completion and closing Punch list for final completion and handing over to client.
Roles & Responsibilities: - (Piping Works)
Responsibility of all incoming Material Inspection for fabrication as per Standards and Material Test Certificates (MTC) and Heat Number and Making report.
Inspect Fabrication & Erection of Pipe Spools and Supports as per Isometrics & Weld Map.
Checking of piping GAD, P&ID, vendor data and piping material specifications as per project specification.
Ensure correct Size & Schedule of pipes are used and rectification/Modification is done as per approved procedures.
Ensure Correct Purging, Cleaning of pipes are done as specified in specification.
Resolving Technical discrepancies arised on Site in consultation with seniors.
Review of pressure test packages prior to the test.
Line checking of pipes to ensure Pipes, Fittings, Accessories, and Supports are as per drawing and specification.
Visual inspection of plant piping and preparing punch list A & B.
Verification and clearing the A items of the punch list prior to the Hydro Testing.
Inspecting for cleaning of Spools after hydro testing and before erection in case of Flanged connections.
Inspecting all type of supports as per drawing.
Verify the Manifold, Pressure gauge and Safety relief valve calibration as per Calibration certificate and test procedure.
Witnessing hydrostatic test, pneumatic test as per approved procedure and drawings.
Verify internal cleaning before and after the pressure test.
Raise the nonconformance, if any deviation from the specification.
The implementation of corrective action and preventive actions.
Coordinate with construction, testing group, and QC department in the preparation of test requirement of each test pack and facilitate close out of any outstanding punch items before and after pressure test.
Witnessing the bolt torque and alignment of flanged joints with correct gasket, stud-bolts and nuts prior to reinstatement as per drawings and project specification.
Checking and inspect the supports, valves and its flow direction prior to loop reinstatement as per latest ISO drawing, P&ID, codes and specification.
Roles & Responsibilities: - (Welding Works)
Inspection of incoming welding and construction materials to ensure the specification requirements.
Monitoring the construction process from all aspects to ensure performance meets the requirements in accordance with company procedures and international standards.
Inspection of welding before, during and after welding process.
Conducting fit up and dimension inspection and test plan (ITP) and technical guidance for welding sequence and distortion control.
Ensure qualified welders and welding consumables as per Qualified WPS & PQR are only used to perform welds.
Surveillance of various sites welding of steel structures & Piping works.
Monitoring welder performance and conduct visual inspection of welds and repairs accordance with company procedures and international codes of practice.
Witnessing of NDT inspection (RT, MT, PT & UT).
Conducting weekly meeting with the contractor/Inspector & welding section.
Issue surveillance & NCR to the activities which are non-conformance to the specification.
Coordinates with the Client’s representative for inspection & test coverage and obtain necessary approval.
Preparation of all QC check lists and test reports.
Preparation of weekly QC reports for client.
Attending progress weekly meeting with the clients.
Clarify and clear any QA/QC problems with third party inspectors.
Familiar with codes & standards for all related welding activities
Witness of PWHT/NDT.
Inspection of welding consumables and equipment’s, checking of storage and baking of electrodes verifying all welding parameters according to approved WPS.
Conversant with the interpretation of detail Engineering drawings, welding symbols, NDT and acceptance standard.
Monitoring calibration of inspection, measuring & testing equipment.
Marking all welding repair joint for repair area.
Making repair instructions for repair weld joint.
Monitor welder performance on weekly basis and overall project repair rate monthly basis.
Planning of radiography after completion of welding process.
Witnessing of Positive Material Identification (PMI).
Conducting daily safety talk with welder’s and welding store mans.
