Experiences:

Operations Engineer at STYRO Company (Expanded Polystyrene Manufacturing) – Sharjah ( Jan 2016 – June 2018) .

Operations Engineer at Galaxy Polystyrene LLC ( July 2018 - till now) . Work Direction:

Reviews daily work schedule in order to allocate tasks and provide work direction to subordinate shift members to ensure agreed production line targets are met. Equipment Operation:

Participates as a member of the team in the operation for a complete production line in an allocated plant area to ensure continuous and efficient operations and the meeting of line production targets. System Performance:

Monitors system performance and manipulates calibrations and settings to ensure synchronisation of line stages, efficient throughput and minimal waste. Troubleshooting:

Troubleshoots the more non-routine defects detected during the process through recalibration of settings in order to keep production down time to a minimum. Escalates the more serious malfunctions to Maintenance and Quality Control.

Maintenance:

Undertakes minor maintenance activities in order optimize operating efficiency and prolong asset life and value.

Technical Reference:

Acts as a point of technical reference for subordinate shift members to assist in higher level troubleshooting and pass on expertise as part of on-the-job training. Coordination:

Interfaces with Maintenance and Production Accounting for materials supply and coordination of activities.

Shift Changes:

Leads shift hand-over/take-over meetings to provide/receive real-time information on operating conditions and potential problems.

Reporting & Documentation:

Logs operating parameters to ensure operations are within normal limits and that all irregularities are reported to immediate supervisor for advice and/or solution. Raw Materials:

Ensures availability of raw materials against the production plan in order that shortages do not interrupt production.

Safety & Housekeeping:

Ensures that the workplace is kept in a clean state and that all work is carried out in full compliance with approved occupational. Health and safety procedures and 5S. Appearance and Image:

Ensures shift team are well presented through taking pride in the company uniform and that they observe personal hygiene standards and behaviours that enhance the company image. Ensure Prepare daily stopping report, production, and quality product, as our company system. Execute activities related to his/her function in safe and environmental friendly methods. Support the identification process of function related OHS hazards and environmental aspects. Ensure a proper level of awareness about OHS hazards and environmental aspects for his \ her Subordinates to ensure having risk free environment in his\ her function (Area). Understand and execute his/her pre-identified role in case of emergency. Understand the consequences of not committing to OHS and environmental management systems requirements

- Coordinate production workflow for one or multiple products

- Plan and prioritize operations to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay

- Determine manpower, equipment and raw materials needed to cover production Demand

- Assign workers and other staff to particular production operations

- Schedule shift according to production needs

- Monitor jobs to ensure they will finish on time and within budget

- Address issues when they arise aiming for minimum disruption

- Obtain output information (number of finished products, percentage of defectives etc.)

- Prepare and submit status and performance reports by using SAP

- Collaborate with quality control, warehouse and other staff.

- Prepare production plan and work procedure by using SAP.
