E ects of 1-heptanol based fuel additives in CI
diesel engine performance and emission
characteristics using Canola oil- In comparison to diesel fuel, adding 1-heptanol as an oxygenated additive to the biodiesel/diesel fuel blend resulted in lower CO and unburned HC emissions while increasing CO2, O2, and NOX emissions. This paper ensures the possibility of proposing biodiesel-diesel-alcohol mixtures to satisfy the planet's future energy needs.
