M.Tech Project: “Geometric design of flexible pavement using OpenRoad Designer software”.
The main aim of the project is to upgrade the selected two lane road to 4 lane divided roadway by using software called OpenRoad Designer. The required details like engineering surveys, traffic survey analysis and forecast is done. The designing is done as per IRC guidelines and the software adopted is OpenRoad Designer. In this software we can do topo data importing from Auto CAD or excel, display boundary/ contours, horizontal and vertical design, creating corridors and templates, creating cross section, creating plan and profiles. In this software we can do 3D modeling. By using OpenRoad software we get accurate results and can save time and reduce errors.
