Medicare Annual Wellness Visit Specialist, MA

Maintenance of the daily AWV clinical schedule for all physicians of the practice which includes calling and scheduling of all Medicare patients. Performing AWV’s, Advanced Directive Counseling, Balance Test, Cognitive Exams, Hearing Tests, and Patient Counseling. Completion of E-Clinical charting and billing for the visit. Completion of scanning of all daily documentation into EMR. Processing all recommended referrals, obtaining completed reports. Checking voice-mail and coordination of return calls. Providing back up coverage to fellow team members as needed. Assuring compliance of Company’s and Client’s OSHA, HIPPA and Clinical Policies and procedures.

Clinical MA Supervisor- Medicare Annual Wellness Visit Specialist

Duties are but not limited to: Coordinate daily activities with wellness specialist and clients. Coordinate all company equipment between specialists and clients. Weekly Client Meetings to assure “All is well:” reporting all questions/concerns back to Administrative team for resolution. Collection of Weekly Fee Tickets from Wellness Specialist- Compare documented billing against Master Patient List to decrease Month End errors. Note Auditing for QI/QA purposes. With established Specialists, pick 2-3 Patients at random and review Full EMR note for accurate charting, billing, grammar and recommendations. Counseling Wellness Specialists regarding errors and needs of improvement. Maintain Clients’ schedules assuring they are booked and being worked. Completing appointment calls as needed at each visit to

assure spots are filled. Assist with the hiring of potential new team members. Assuring all new employees complete New Employee Forms as well as review full employee manual with them. Perform Weekly SOAP meeting with all new employees on a weekly basis, using this moment to address any concerns, weaknesses etc. Attending administrative meetings and marketing lunches as needed. Payroll on a bi weekly basis.
