Freelance Grant Writer

I have done freelance grant writing for several prestigious law firms in Wisconsin, two charities, and several small business locally. This job has provided me with the stability to continue my own creative writing works. The job includes writing, drafting, and cleaning up proposals for corporations and institutions to apply for governmental grants. This freelance experience has taught me how to be succinct and impactful.

I was a CNA. I worked every day with the mentally ill, to help maintain their emotional control, help with their day to day needs, feed them, oversee their treatment plans. We also attended a lot of therapeutic in-service classes to help learn new techniques for crisis management. I was on the hospital wide crisis management team for 4 years.
SKILLS
I have worked extensively as a saucier, sommlier, baker, and chief menu planner. I am excellent with problem solving in the moments of desparation on the line. I run a tight ship during service and really pride myself on a customers complete dining satisfaction.
After some unexpected physical problems in 2017, I decided to finish my Bachelor’s degree in English. Writing professionally has been a life long goal. I have done many research based articles for online and print formats. I continue to look for a position that will challenge me to be a better writer!
