• Established seasonal design direction by creating mood boards, color palettes, fabric and trend boards that fit within the brand’s vision.
• Designed original yarn dye stripes and prints including pitch sheets with pantone chips, size scale and repeats.
• Executed sketches and created seasonal tech packs which included 50-75 unique designs with fabric, trim and construction details.
• Spearheaded product development with factories and vendors to execute fabric/trim sourcing and SMS samples.
• Overseas factory visits for sourcing, in person meetings, fittings and production quality control.
• Lead all in-house SMS and production fittings, relaying fit comments to fine tune collection samples and production.
• Facilitated and styled all photoshoots from model casting, concept to choosing final images used for marketing, line sheets, social media and E-commerce site.
• Mentored and managed design team. Established work flow procedures to ensure all calendar deadlines and deliverables were met.
• Participated in sales meetings with buyers from Stitch Fix, ModCloth, Anthropologie, South Moon Under, Nordstrom Rack, TJ Maxx, Ross and Burlington to develop exclusive collections and create private label programs. Within my first year, the private label business grew from 3 to 7.2 million USD.
• Worked closely with NY, LA, TX, GA sales representatives/showrooms to edit the line and receive buyer feedback.
• Attended quarterly trade shows to work with boutique and Majors buyers in order to gain knowledge of direct consumer buys.

• Collaborated directly with the owner to create seasonal collections.
• Sourced fabrics, trims, embellishments, prints and original artwork from local and overseas vendors.
• Worked with in-house patternmakers and sewing team on new development samples and production.
• Created technical design packages and oversaw development.
• Attended fittings and relayed comments to in-house teams and overseas factories in both China and India.
• Developed styles for “Tiny,” a private label brand for Anthropologie and worked directly with the buyers and showroom to create monthly curated styles.
