Process Elimination

o Eliminated the process of manual marking for Zipper cutting by improving the work method.

o Eliminated sleeve gathering operation (SMV-0.28) & ruffle gathering in Peplum creeper styles by merging two operation into single operation top feeder machine.

Man power Reduction

o Reduced manpower in Cutting Dept. from 377 to 338 by analyzing all work breakdowns and setting-up overall process & Layouts. o Reduced manpower in Printing Dept. from 64 to 48 analyzing all work breakdowns and making all multiskilled for all operations o Reduced 24 Manpower (8Manpower per line x 3 Lines) by 3D ear making and Turning operations in Embroidery section and LASER cuttings and Tab Turn Setups.

Method Improvements

o Developed an attachment for Automatic roll winding in continuous fusing machine where it doesn’t require any electric or mechanic energy for its function

o For fabric inspection machine End cutter machine is attached where it improves the productivity from 54 rolls to 60 rolls per day o Label picker attachment is placed in Heat seal machine for in foil attach printing where the motion of handling and double picking of foil paper is reduced

o Made optimal Layout for Cutting Dept. Auto, Manual Spreaders, Pin Tables, Bandknife, Fabric Relaxing & other facilities. Printing Dept. with printing machine & Embroidery Dept. Laser Machine layout and metal detector using MS Visio & Auto Cad, which meets the standard compliance requirement and less flow materials
