I have acquired 8+ years work experience in GCC Bahrain as a Finance Head. And overall, I have 16+ years work experience in Financial Accounting field as an Auditor, ERP Consultant, Accountant & Head of Finance.
Currently I am working in Commercial Kitchen Equipment Supply / Consultation Company, which is supplying, installing all kind of high end commercial heavy-duty equipment especially for Large Hotel
& Restaurant. Commercial kitchen equipment supplies operation and accounting procedure quite similar to civil construction as such Bid bond, Performance bond, Advance payment and stage wise completion collections are quite similar.
My duties and responsibilities include managing Financial & Accounting of the company and further extend to Showroom Management, HR supervision, TAMKEEN handling and business development with likely prospect customers.
I graduated in May 2007 from University of Kelaniya, Sri Lanka with a Bachelor of Commerce (Special) degree. And, I have got Certificate (Inter.) from Chartered Accountant of Sri Lanka. I have accrued four years of experience as a Senior Auditor in leading Chartered Accountancy firm (BDO Partners) in Sri Lanka, where I had exposure to various types leading Corporate Bodies. After that I served for trading company (Group of Companies) as an Accountant. Then I had great exposure ERP Customization company as a capacity of Functional Consultant. As a result of that I could ably acquire vast knowledge about large scale ERP systems as we served leading Public Limited Companies. And at present I am working as a Head of Finance in ECE Group Co. I started with ECE Group Co. W.L.L. – Bahrain in July 2012 as an Accountant. ECE Group Co. W.L.L. is specialized in supplying Commercial Kitchen Equipment to hotels and restaurants and its major operations are (a) Consultation
(b) Design layouts (c) Supplying & Installing commercial kitchen equipment & (d) Maintenance. Maintenance work includes monitor projects under warranty; provide the service for annual maintenance contract & preventive maintenance contract and repair any kind of kitchen equipment supplied by company or competitor. And works are doesn’t limit to above mentioned list. When, I joined the company it was young and growing company, so I got expose different section/activities of the company expect holding the whole responsibility of finance & accounting. Hence, I could learn about world leading
& renowned kitchen equipment brand in no time. It helped me to convert prospect customers into successful customers under guideline and supervision of my General Manager. Due to my high enthusiasm of leaning about Commercial Kitchen Equipment & operation of those I was able to publish book in Amazon “How to select suitable Commercial Kitchen Equipment Supplier” in 2018. I believe that sums up about my dynamic career in ECE Group. My success was, I was able to produce the book covering process selecting hotel & restaurant business to signing off supplying & installing commercial kitchen equipment. Being a Head of Finance by professional I am glad I had acquired sufficient experience about “Commercial Kitchen Equipment” since I joined ECE Group Co. W.L.L. – Bahrain due to my untiring effort. So even though I am working as capacity of Head of Finance now, I have enough & sound knowledge about Commercial Kitchen Equipment.
