Manage the division of Pediatric Neurosurgery at Texas Children’s Hospital, which is ranked 4th in the U.S. and 2nd best pediatric children’s hospital according to U.S. News & World Report. Here I partner with Section Chief to assist his vision for the department. Supervise staff as needed, and overall manage the daily operations of the division of Pediatric Neurosurgery on a day-to-day basis.
Manage calendars/travel for the chief of neurosurgery, and assist with other two neurosurgeon’s schedules
Maintains department records of faculty (i.e., curriculum vitae, licensures, CMEs, etc.) for credentialing and licensure and update yearly as needed
Assist with new physician onboarding, new employee interviews and attend monthly meetings
In charge of provider clinic scheduling/space utilization/medical record retrieving/imaging in radiology
Receive direct reports from observers, pre-med students, medical students, residents and fellows
