PROJECT:

• Title : An experimental study on stone dust as a partial replacement of fine aggregates in concrete.

• Role : Team member.

• Description : Concrete is the most widely used and commonly used building material. The constituents of concrete are coarse, fine aggregate, binding material and water. Rapid increase in construction activities leads to acute shortage of conventional construction materials. For the past some years the escalation in cost of sand due to administrative restrictions in India, demands comparatively greater cost at around two to three times the cost of stone dust even in places where river sand is available nearby. To achieve material to replace sand by crushing powder. It is extensively used; hence this project is aimed to reduce the use of natural sand by using stone dust as a partial replacement of fine aggregate in concrete. Thereby, reducing the exhaustion of natural sand.
