Responsibilities:
Costing for all those processes has been done in manufacturing for a total DIE, spares and service dies.
To be work smarter within the cost estimated or will make the cost lesser then we estimated for the customer.
Will have to calculate all those bills and check it whether it is acceptable or will have to took action for the higher amount and check the problem has been done.
Review the design whether it is good to work or will have to initiate the problems in design and make the design smarter to work within the estimation it might be the new die or service one.
Will have to work in design for our needs.
Good knowledge in Creo 3.0 software in our company we used this software for design.
Good knowledge in AutoCAD 2013 for making 2d drawings for the process.
Preparing power points for the service products about the process what have been done to solve it without any issues.
Travel to the customer end and discuss about the new projects or any problems happen in the Die or some other service die with them.
Will have to discuss the issues or plans about the project from top of the plant till at end of the technician.
Non-Lagging of work after every process until the project will be done.
Follow-up tooling parts at the supplier and mould maker parts.
Mould trail support and optimisation follow-up.
Support to supplier fixing the tool design along with the tool maker.
Plan for the project and make a Gang chart.
Develop methods to track effectiveness of tool and die system.
Conduct analysing of existing tools and modification in terms of cost, tool function process.
Ability to read the part datum, blue print, component drawing, CMM report, Dimensions and tolerance.
Work for ONTIME and help customers in trouble.
Ensure to pay careful attention about costumer bottleneck situations.
Technical skill in manufacturing and method including flow, planning layout, assembly.
Good knowledge in metals use for die manufacturing both PDC & GDC.
Perform towards enhancing entire part quality to make scrap as well as rework.
Identify root cause for manufacturing and quality issue.
Good knowledge in all operational m/c like Lathe, Milling, EDM, EDM wire cut, Cylindrical Grinding, Surface Grinding.
Man power handling.
Customer interaction and Development of overall tool manufacturing.
Continuously report about the status of tools and action taken.

Here I going to explain about some projects have been worked with a standard process. C9 spool. Customer: Excel Die Casting Chennai,
It’s a New tool to be manufacture all those things and the component used in Hyundai cars for seat belt rollers it was more complicated have to keep ours eyes on all the process for any false or mistake have not been occurred it will affect the cost and time for the company and reputation of the company.
1. The component given by the customer have too check the component dimensions in CMM have to take all the dimensions in the AutoCAD DXF format and give it to the design team to make rough layout for the component for the costing process and have to tell about any side cores to be want and what type of hydraulic cylinders we want. 2. Once the costing has been done with all the parts in the die and approved by the customer the design work has been gone and I have to follow the design team to know about the status and have to give dead line for the design and the design done we have to review with the customer with our team and make change if we need it. 3. After the design work we have to order the raw materials for all the standard and the component parts.
4. Will have to prepare the planning charts and commitment given to customer for trail and work with the time and to prepare BOM.
5. Each and every parts are different some of them are same will have to choose the operational process and move the raw materials with the perfect drawings and have to explain it deeply and give some required time to them and track with records. 6. After all those processes has been done such as Turning, Milling, CG, EDM, Wire cut, VMC, Electrode making and etc will have to check all those stuffs after the operation has been completed and prepare an IR with tolerance.
7. All those things given to the tool makers for the fitting and assembly process and have to work with them any issue has been happen and solve it that. 8. Despatch on time for trail and planned to take trail with customer and have to take part in that process.
9. The trail has been taken the 1st shot has been done will check any eyesight issues in component and take the component for checking purpose with component drawing check all those dimensions and is the any issues will take notes and discuss with our team and work in tool for required dimensions with required tolerance have been given. 10. Have to work until the component have been ok for the customer. 11. We do not to take more trails it will affect the cost estimated by us and it will take our company to the bottle neck situation.
Service project
1. Here it came under the non-filling and cracks in the components once the tool arrived from the customer have to check the component fully and make the notes. 2. For non-filling problem we have to check whether the die has been closed properly have to check any gap has been seen with our tool makers. 3. After that machine the component area whether which side has more problem and have too check the fitting areas once it matched the problem has been done 4. If carks have been seen we have to check whether we want to weld or have remove the area and make loose piece.
5. For small cracks we have welded with some technical welds such as TIG or micro or laser. Lasers has been used more precession.
6. After weld we have to machine and polish that area. 7. Whether if loose piece has been provided will have to design the model and purchase material and taken to formation process after that fitting and polishing. 8. The decisions have been taken by the process engineer with the technical knowledge. 9. Will have to work for the dimensions in micron. Education
