VOCATIONAL TRAINING -- BHILAI STEEL PLANT 3 weeks ( June '15) Visited various units and subunits of the plant such as coke oven, blast furnance, Steel Melting Shop, Continous Caster, Rail and Plate Mill and learnt the conversion of raw material to pig iron then to steel and then to semi finished products such as ingot, bloom, billet . And finally to finished products such as Railway tracks, Plates, Sheets, Bars, Channels etc PROJECTS

PROJECT TRAINING - BHILAI STEEL PLANT 4 weeks (June '16 ) Worked on a project "Operation of LD - Converter through Oxygen Lancing". Learnt the process of conversion of pig iron to primary steel in LD- Converter through Oxygen Lancing . Also learnt the process of secondary steel making in RH-Degasser, AOD, VAR, VOD, Laddle furnance etc. MINOR PROJECT - B.TECH FINAL YEAR July '16 - May '17 Worked on " Improving the strength of Aluminum 6082 (T6) alloy by suitable Age hardening treatment " under the guidance of Dr. Sanjeev Das, Assistant Professor, NIT Raipur. Samples(unforged, forged, forged and machined) were given by "COLD FORGED Pvt Ltd" on which various testings ( OM, SEM, XRD ) were done.
