Iam working in Bill Forge Pvt Ltd, Bangalore as a engg metallurgy.
Company - Specialized in Manufacture of Hot,Warm & Cold Forging Power train &
Transmission system Parts like Steering yokes, Handles Shafts, Hubs, CV outers, Lower
shafts, Middle shafts, Cam shafts, Tulips Races, Flanges, Gear blanks, Claw poles, Pinions,
common rails, Races, Retainers etc. in total of 6 plants operating in different parts of India.
Job Role:
Engg of Metallurgy department which covers heat treatment process & metallurgical lab
activity.
Responsible & owner for heat treatment process like Induction hardening, stress releaving,
Normalising & annealing process,
Responsible for incoming metallurgical inspection like raw material & vendor processed
material.
Responsible for raw material inspection like Macro, Micro & Chemistry examination.
Metallurgical inspection & verification of Heat treated material.
Metallurgical analysis of defective components.
Preparation of control plan, SOP & work instruction for heat treatment & for metallurgical
activities.
KNOWLEDGE OF HEAT TREATMENT FURNACES:
Mesh type continuous belt furnace
Gas carburising furnace(Pit furnace)
Induction hardening machines.
Cast Link Belt Benco furnace( Hardening & Tempering).
