Working with MATTEX MANUFACTURING INTERNATIONAL. Mattex is a leading name in carpet backing manufacturing industry and operating under Al Rajhi Group of KSA. Company is in expansion phase and have branches in USA, Dubai and KSA. It reached an annual turnover to USD 50 million (Dubai branch only) and expanded business globally to meet requirements of international customers. Mattex foresee further growth in the business and have future expansion projects in line.

1-Worked as Senior Cost Consultant in MATTEX USA LLC. From November 2015 to August 2017.

2-Worked as “Chief / Cost Accountant” in MATTEX Dubai LLC. From October 2009 to November 2015

Additional responsibilities to streamline accounting and financial reporting of Mattex Manufacturing LLC USA & Mattex Fabrics USA Georgia

Ensure accurate and timely monthly and year end financial reporting including Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss, Cash Flow, etc.

Supervise GL, AR, AP, Inventory.

Facilitate budget and forecast preparation and take corrective action based on budget vs actual comparison and analysis.

Set KPI’s for business performance review and ensure to achieve set goals.

Keep tight internal control for optimum utilization of business resources.

Provide management, product wise and regional margins and periodic comparison.

Margin analysis of Mattex USA and consolidated margins.

Monitor Cost Accounting system, calculate Standard Costing, Overheads, Fixed Assets, Inventory Aging, etc.

Support Accounts consolidation Mattex Dubai and Mattex USA

Supervise accounting team and lead towards achievement of financial goals.

Perform below Responsibilities as Sr. Cost Accountant in Mattex Dubai LLC;

Manage cost reporting process, cost data collection, monitor progress against budget and carry out periodic reviews.

Overheads review and analysis and set applied OH rates.

Calculate Standard Cost based on BOM to provide business support for margin determination

Variance analysis of standard and actual job orders cost, control and rectify cost.

Design and maintain an effective control environment over all operations affecting cost of product, accounting & reporting.

Prepare monthly Inventory reports for Finished Goods & Semi Finished Goods including inventory aging analysis, Production, Purchase, Sales, etc.

Contribution margin analysis, analysis by customer and by item.

Maintain fixed assets register (depreciation, acquisition, disposal, etc.)

Prepare periodic Capex, Opex and inventory budget and forecast.

Manage internal stock count and external audit process.

Prepare data for KPIs and monitor the business operations and performance quarterly.

Manage and supervise accounting staff and coordinate with operations, production, sales and warehouse to get required information and reports and provide guideline to obtain target results.

3-Four years’ experience as “Finance & Admin Manager / Cost Accountant” in National Bags Factory Musaffah Abu Dhabi, U.A.E. (January 2006 to October 2009).

Job Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting including P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, etc.

Budget and Forecast preparation

Controlling of General Ledger, Bank Ledger, Receivable Ledger, Payable Ledger, Inventory Ledger, Fixed Assets Ledger, Payroll Ledger, Purchase Ledger, Sales Ledger, etc.

Supervision and controlling all activities of department to ensure accuracy and timely submission of financial reports.

Ensuring that company’s books of accounts has been maintained in accordance with the international accounting standards and procedures laid by the company.

Preparation of Trial Balance, Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Bank Reconciliation and other reports as and when required by management.

Preparation of Financial Statements as per IAS / IFRS

Review accounting book entries to ensure accuracy of GL

Supervise payments, collections, payroll preparation and reconciliation of AR & AP.

Cash management and prepare monthly Cash Flow Statement.
