Professional Experience

Contract (Amazon)

QA SW Tester Seattle, WA 10/2018 – 9/2019

Ran manual tests on Echo devices, wrote bugs, regression testing, set up devices, installed new builds, etc.

Wrote a Test Plan & Test Cases, ran initial tests & coordinated with the DA Team (India) for full test pass.

Collected logs & did initial investigation of failures, worked with devs on repros & getting additional info.

Wrote PowerShell scripts to run ADB Commands, BAT files for unlocking devices, etc. & used JIRA.

Contract (Microsoft)

Software Test Engineer (STE/SDET) Redmond, WA 8/2017 – 7/2018

Installed & tested apps like Netflix, Groove, Hulu, Movies & TV, Spotify, etc

Ran manual/automated tests & wrote some basic scripts

Ran the entire NSKU Test Pass on Windows 10 OSs, MTP (Monthly Test Pass), & Servicing testing

Wrote bugs in VSO, set up & maintained Test Equipment, wrote & updated Test Cases

Software Test Engineer (STE 3) Redmond, WA 6/2013 – 12/2015

Ran Automation scripts for Stress, Connection Reliability, & Driver Stability testing of BT & WiFi drivers

Collected logs & dump files (if any), analyzed, & sent a Daily Summary report. Briefly used Wireshark for sniffing

Set up Surface tablets for each of these 3 types of test each time a new build to test came out (40+ machines).

Wrote some scripts (PowerShell & .BAT files) to run multiple tests & to collect data from the machines
