Academic Projects:

M-Tech Project : Selective separation of water from spent acid (H2SO4 – HNO3 – H2O)

Examined various possible techniques for selective separation of water from spent acid.

Molecular sieves have high affinity towards water, hence molecular sieves can used to adsorb water from spent acid mixture and the effect of spent acid on molecular sieve is determined.

Membrane separation technique is used to separate water from spent acid. Different membranes are fabricated using different raw materials and tested in spent acid solution.

B-Tech Project : Production of Methanol from Syngas

Detail study of Production of Methanol from Syngas and various available methods for the Production of Syngas.
