PROJECT:

CORROSION BEHAVIOUR OF HYDROXYAPATITE AND ZIRCONIUM DIOXIDE

(HAP/ZrO2) COATED MAGNESIUM SUBSTRATE.

Description: Magnesium (Mg) plate is coated with the mixture of hydroxyapatite and zirconium dioxide by the electron beam physical vapor deposition (EB-PVD) method. Then the difference between the pure magnesium and the coated magnesium is analysed by the various test. New innovated coated magnesium can be used for bone grafting. By this project, I can take my mechanical innovation into the bio medical field. AREA OF INTREST:
