Responsibilities handled (As MEP Engineer)
Managing the Shop Drawings, Material Submittals, Method Statements, Inspection Requests & RFI’s
Attend all project related meeting with Client/Consultant/Main Contractor and reporting back to the General Manager on the proceedings.
Leading the project team and ensuring project completion within budget, schedule and conformance with design documents
To receive all project related instructions from the Client, Engineer, Main Contractor, etc and transmit, communicate and arrange effective action in coordination with the Management
Review and approve all major purchase orders and contractor/vendor requisitions as prepared by the team
Monitored work to ensure that work is being carried out as per specification, standards and authority requirement
Coordinate and integrate the activities of all of the project engineers and other support staff on the project.
Assisted internally with QS and planning department to update progress for MEP system.
Prepared monthly progress bill and variation claims for consultant approval
Coordinating with the authorities for the inspections/approvals and handed over the project to the client as per contract requirement

Reviewed all technical submittal, drawings, prior to submission to the consultant

Check the activities on site and provide the necessary reminders to the Project team for any immediate action.
Supervise the production of co-ordination drawings to ensure that all services are coordinated with each other and the building structure is complying with the contract requirements.
Obtain approvals for changes to the project that have been generated by the sub contractor. All costs incurred by the change shall be approved by the owner prior to proceeding
Carries out site inspection to monitor that all the civil obstruction have been cleared to MEP contractor and ensuring work is completed as per planned schedule.
Involved in commissioning activities, obtained approvals from local authorities and handed over completed projects to the client for end use.

Detailed study of tender documents, specifications, IFC drawings, BOQ.
Looked after submission of material submittals, shop drawings, coordination drawings and floor plans based on IFC drawings and specifications.
Reviewed and incorporated comments on shop drawings from client, consultant for re- submissions
Selected equipment’s by making necessary calculations (ESP, PUMP HEAD) based on approved shop drawings
Material ordering and planning the delivery schedule as per the project requirement in coordination with procurement team and supplier
