I have experience in creating a classroom environment favorable and conducive to learning and personal growth for students. My first goal is to establish effective rapport with students as a positive role model. My second goal is to provide students with appropriate learning activities and experiences designed to help them fulfill their potential for intellectual, emotional, physical and social growth. I have developed and implemented lesson plans that fulfill the requirements for student with different learning styles. While preparing lessons that reflect accommodations for differences in student learning styles as well as incorporating usage of technology to strengthen the teaching/learning process. I have experience presenting subject matter according to guidelines established by Texas Education Agency, Board Policies and Administrative Regulations. I will plan the use of applicable instructional and learning strategies, activities, materials, and equipment that reflect understanding of the learning styles and needs of students assigned. I can also conduct formal and informal assessment of student learning styles and use results for future planning of instructional activities. I enjoy working cooperatively with special education teachers to modify curricula as needed for special education students according to guidelines established in Individual Education Plans (IEP).

I have experience working with confidential information, meeting deadlines, and enjoy working with administration and faculty to obtain educational goals.
