Drafting of instrumentation & Electrical drawings and automated Control Systems in the oil and gas related facilities within the southeastern part of Louisiana. Utilized Autocad 14 and Autocad LT 2019 drafting programs.

Worked for Universal Technical Services. Drafting/design work of major international projects such as Shell Appomattox, Gumusut-Kakap, Perdido, Mars B platforms and more. Some field work done on offshore platforms in the Gulf of Mexico. Designed, drafted and updated as-built P&IDs, plot plans, area classifications and other vital documents related to any given project. Worked with engineers to interpret markups, reports and field notes for creating schematics and finished drawings. Utilized Shell specific AutoCAD programs and SmartPlant drafting computer program for data driven mechanical diagrams. Managed the drafting group successfully throughout the completion of several work projects for some time while at Shell.

2004 TO 2006

Drafting and field walkdowns at Valero Refinery in St. Charles Parish through the upgrading of the facility, turnarounds and continuing projects. Verifying engineering field notes and latest markups to update as-built P&IDs, isometric and equipment layout drawings.

Learning and drafting of mechanical drawings, P&IDs and field walkdowns of several offshore facilities in the Gulf of Mexico as well as refineries along the southeastern part of Louisiana. Nine years of offsite inspections and walkdowns for mechanical and piping drawings mainly. Some electrical and instrumentation drafting was also part of my duties.
