OBJECTIVE:

To use skills in troubleshooting, critical thinking, problem solving and analysis as well as enhance written and oral communication. I am highly appreciating any team-oriented work environment. Capable and enthusiastic Civil Engineer having more than Five years experience in Civil construction, Buildings, Roads and Site Preparation. My experience covers Industrial development projects & high-rise buildings, residential houses, highways, drainage improvements, bridges and retaining walls. I have working experience with local and international organizations, consultants and contractors on different projects. Project: Monitoring & Provision of TA to PTCs under Conditional Grants Program in KP, implemented by Socio Engineering Consultants (SEC). Organization: Socio engineering consultants.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Identify & coordinate with all stakeholders regarding project issues as per influence/power map

Review and evaluate Project schedules with resources- controlled & monitored- recommended crashing/ fast tracking to ensure timely completion of the project.

Review & Resolve the conflicting issues in shop and design drawings as per site condition within provided code and specifications such as ACI, BS

Approve & ensure implementation of all Processes/Procedures elaborated in method statements submitted and as per Specifications for construction of structural elements of the Project

Procurement Management-evaluation of subcontractors & Materials submittals and recommend for client approval

Ensure procurement of construction materials as per client approved list of material and stockpiling / storage as per Client specification. Maintain record of material in & out of site.

Inspects safety requirements for the workmen/ project and prepare safety reports on weekly basis.

Strictly monitor the QA/QC requirements for Concrete, Soil, Asphalt and construction procedure as per specification. Testing & source approval of these material as per AASHTO/ASTM

Supervise and monitor KPI’s, construction progress on daily, weekly and monthly basis,

Hold Project performance meetings and Prepare & send progress status reports

/milestone progress reports to concerned stakeholders.

Check & Approve Interim Payment certificate, anticipating quantity over run / preparation of variation orders

Performed integrated change control, taken corrective/preventive actions to control deviation from performance measurement baseline.

Solve interface problems of different contractors at the project by using work authorization system

Manage/Organize duties of field staff and oversee the work of staff to ensure efficacy of work procedures

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Check / review Contractor's drawings for all structural works, including coordination with all the electrical, mechanical, specialist disciplines and architectural requirements of the project and with all the regulatory requirements.

• Implement the contract documents requirements, such as design drawings, specifications, Bill of Quantities, contract conditions, etc. on site.

• Review / check and recommend the correct completed progress percentages of all civil and structural activities to the client / CM for Contractor's Monthly Payment Applications.

• Check, review and approve all the civil and structural materials submittals, proposals, calculations and samples. Refer any complicated design issues to SSH design office for assistance in review.

• Inform Resident Engineer and Head of Structures immediately if any serious incident occurs which could affect the safety, stability, serviceability or durability of the structure, adjacent structures, whether in the short or long term. If appropriate, instruct emergency procedures to avoid accidental damage.

• Inspect the civil and structural materials delivered to the project site for compliance with approved materials data / samples. Ensure that testing of the materials is carried out in accordance with the project specifications and relevant codes/standards. Reject and ensure removal and replacement of non-compliant materials.

• Check quality of civil and structural works to ensure compliance with the contract specification requirements, method statements and approvals.

• Review and approve the As Built drawings.

• Carry out regular periodic inspections at the site to ensure that safety standards are being maintained (e.g. scaffolding, formwork, ladders, shoring, dewatering, etc.)

• Ensure that subordinates on the site are fulfilling their duties correctly with respect to the day to day supervision of the civil and structural works. 3 Position held: Site Engineer (QC)

Develop and determine all standards to perform inspection and tests on all procedures and oversee all testing methods and maintain high standards of quality for all processes.

Review quality of all materials at the site and ensure compliance with all project specifications and quality and collaborate with the department for all material procurement and maintain a quality of materials.

Supervise the effective implementation of all test and inspection schedules and ensure adherence to all procedures and coordinate with various teams to perform quality audits on processes.

Assist with employees to ensure knowledge of all quality standards and ensure compliance to all quality manual and procedures and collaborate with contractors and suppliers to maintain the quality of all systems.

Manage to lift of all types of equipment and handle the efficient storage of all hazardous materials and perform quality audits as per required schedule.

Analyze all products and non-conformance processes and evaluate all documents to ensure the maintenance of optimal quality and prepare monthly reports to evaluate performance.

Monitor an efficient system and record for all project activities and analyze all processes to ensure all work according to quality requirements.

Manage all work methods and maintain knowledge on all quality assurance standards and monitor continuous application for all quality assurance processes and recommend corrective actions for all processes.

Develop a method statement for the activity including risk assessment and job safety environmental analysis and Inspection Test Plan and Checklist based on specifications of the project.

Liaise the Technical Engineer for submission of material submittals to Consultant

Coordinate with the consultant’s representative and Site In-charge for inspection.
