Selected by a biochemistry professor to conduct field and analytical research for “Lithium as a Treatment for Varroa Mites in Honeybee colonies”. Research involved sample collection of bees, honey, and wax which I analyzed utilizing a microwave plasma-atomic emission spectrometer. I will be presenting this research at Butler University in April 2020.
