Senior IT Project Manager, Cosis, Dallas Apr 17 – Jan 20

Planned and managed the creation of an application to collect, analyze and report data of electrical parts. Migrated legacy data to Oracle database with Web interface using Java script, Node JS, HTML 5. The application was deployed in AWS Cloud.

Estimated project budget, created RFPs and hired a team to create schemas, transform data (ETL data warehousing) and complete the migration and data analysis. The data consisted of over a million SKU’s.

As a product owner, responsible for creating project charter, scope, gathering user requirements, creating work breakdown structures, design architecture, implementation, risk management, and support of the project.

Provided considerable value by negotiating with and leading a team of programmers to set up data warehousing and mining to conduct statistical analysis of financial returns based on sales, by categories, of the electrical parts sold by the client. This helped in cutting costs by 25%. This value was realized using BI (Business Intelligence) and BA (Business Analytics).

Managed all financial software integrations and implementations at the firm. Provided software solutions and reporting for Accounting, Collections, Payroll and Docketing departments. The system was SOX compliant.

Setup PMO and created policies & procedures for Enterprise IT Management.

Senior IT Project Manager, Dr Pepper, Dallas Jun 15 – Mar 17

Led a major project to receive data from a third party (Peoplenet) device placed in Dr. Pepper trucks. Responsible for creating database, User accounts, frontend, testing, delivery and setting up support model for the project. Worked with various stakeholders in a Matrix environment. The project expanded to transferring login/logoff punches by the driver (including lunch punches that were non-billable) to Kronos (payroll management system).

Managed the project using Agile techniques while designing the solution, identifying the softwares to be used in integrating, hiring programmers, hiring testers, planning and implementing, and training the support team.

Automated new business intake and other workflows using a Business Process Management application. Designed and developed dashboard for management KPIs for the executive committee.

Setup SAP EWM and trained end-users for implementation of EWM (Extended Warehouse Management) at Dr. Pepper site in Chicago. Consolidated warehouse bins to better manage the movement of products to be loaded in the trucks.

Senior IT Project Manager, Human Tower, Detroit July 13 – Jun 15

Used Agile development methodology to create cloud based software for Detroit based Human Tower (competency assessment and professional development company). The Application enabled Clients to establish function wide role and career path transparency, conduct talent assessments for individuals and groups, establish proficiency targets for each role, etc.

The application was architected using “4+1” model [KRU41] using Angular JS, Java, Bootstrap, jQuery and HTML5 for the browser, Spring framework for the middle layer and MySQL database on the backend. The system was hosted on AWS as single instance multiple databases.

Senior IT Project Manager, Savitr, Hyderabad July 11 – May 13

Helped design, create and test two applications for Failsafe to create inventory, packing instructions, packaging component and safety instructions for shipment of Hazardous Materials. The systems were created using .net and SQL server.

The applications constituted comprehensive hazardous materials processing systems which included domestic and international regulations based on requirements in 40 CFR.

Computer Operations manager, AstraZeneca, Delaware Mar 06 – July 11

Responsible for the planning and management of data collection, manipulation and reporting systems in the US, UK, South Africa, Sweden, and Japan. These included business critical applications with the data mostly on large Oracle and SQL server databases with Java and .net front end.

Outsourced data management systems with over 400 users around the world. Created new architecture with about 150 servers using Citrix and Java platforms to centralize IT operations in four key centers around the world.

Led the integration of IT operations across sites in South America, Canada and the USA to create a single point of operation in Boston. As an IT lead, along with a team of 60 persons, helped submitting multiple studies to the FDA (Food and Drug Administration).

Local Support Manager, AstraZeneca, Delaware Apr 99 – Feb 06

Designed and implemented networks, as the team leader, to enable over 200 users to access the AstraZeneca Data management tool. The network was built on Windows 2000 and Citrix Metaframe 1.8 with VB frontend and Oracle database in the backend.

Migrated Data Management applications and user accounts from Westborough, Massachusetts to Wayne Pennsylvania and then to Delaware in a seamless fashion. Responsible for Y2K compliance of several applications. The process involved data backup, reconciliation and validation.
