EMPLOYMENT

Inventory Control Supervisor: Bunzl Retail Services, June 2018 – November 2019

Oversee and manage inventory in a warehouse totaling 1 million sq. feet. Complete physical inventories and maintain accurate accounting of products by performing an ongoing cycle count program. Research and respond to all customer / vendor issues and provide communications as needed. Perform product inventory adjustments in a timely manner. Oversee and pull destructs per customer requests. Process damages / shortages by issuing claim tickets using Walmart Quickbase. To reduce operational errors created and maintained Picker Alert Program (flagging) that provided pickers and QC personnel with location instructions.

Production Manager: Grayhill Inc., Fox River Grove Facility, 1983 – 2001

Responsible for overseeing production operations, training and manage the facilities safety program. Developed and implement a written training program that met ISO 9000 guidelines. The equipment utilized at this facility included: automated assembly, semi-automated assembly, inline assembly processes, pneumatic presses, pick & place assembly, CO2 & Yag Lasers, vision detection systems, pad printers, ultrasonic welders, resistance welders, epoxy dispensing systems, electronic testing, vibratory feeders, manual assembly. My responsibilities included the following:

Operations

•Oversee operations utilizing a staff of supervisors, maintenance, office, IT and as many as 120 direct labor personnel.

•Review process performance, set PPM goals, define problem areas and prioritize solutions.

•Utilize process improvement methodologies; Theory of Constraint, Pull Systems, Lean Manufacturing, SMED, JIT, KAN-BAN, SPC / SQC, for the purpose of continual improvement.
