CLINICAL EXPOSURE:
I have the following clinical exposure:
1995 Internship training in National Guard Hospital in Jeddah in dept of Oral &Maxillofacial dept with Dr Sarit K Ghose. Followed by Oral &Maxillofacial Centre in K. F.H in Medina with Dr Abdulall Ali (Kartom University), and then I spent the rest of the internship period in General dentistry.
1995. General dentistry in health center, MOH in Madinah ALMunorrah. During this year I passed part I FDS RCS Edinburgh.
1996-1997, Resident in Oral & Maxillofacial Dept. at the main hospital and the major trauma center in Al Medina Almunorrah region, which is the K. F. H. under Dr Samir Kateery (BDS. K.S.U, MS, and PhD) and Dr Tajdeen K (Lagos University).
1998-1999. I joined the Residency program(OMFS, OM) at Riyadh and Alkarj Hospital in Riyadh as part of requirement for PART II FDS RCS(Edin)
2000-2004. Joined as Specialist in Oral Surgery and Dental department. Prince Sulman Hospital in Riyadh.
2002-2003 I had part time for a year, in Riyadh Medical Complex under Dr Medhat Hossaini (DDS, MD.BDS, MS, and PHD).
2003-2004. I was attached to the Dental Faculty, King Saud University as clinical instructor under Dr Nasser Nooh (chairman, assistant ).
2005-2007 Moved to the Dental facility, dept of OMFS as specialist registrar,, King Saud University
2008-2010 MScs in OMFS from the University of Glasgow, UK. The clinical exposure during the course covered orthognathic surgery, oncology in the Southern General Hospital, Glasgow. Whereas Trauma and TMJ surgery at Monkland General Hospital, Lanarkshire. Skin cancer and Minor oral surgical procedure was in Falkrik and Dumfries &Galloway Royal Infirmary Hospitals
2013 attached as summer internship to Oral and Maxillofacial Dept, / Research Centre, Dental collage, University of Hong Kong
2010-2014 I was awarded a PhD in OMFS, from Medical Veterinary life sciences school,Glasgow University, UK. During that period I had clinical exposure mainly in dentofacial deformity management in Southern General Hospital and the minor surgery list was covered under sedation or GA in Stobhill Hospital
2019 I have upgrade my clinical rank to consultant(SCHS) in oral and maxillofacial surgery
Part time consultant in private sector, Riyadh.
Currently I am Associate Professor & Consultant of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, in the Dental Faculty
