Project: Data Center On-Premises Virtual Machines Migration to Google & Azure Clouds:
Led the CNTR project server migration as part of the Fade Away program, overseeing the transition of all Loblaw Datacenter VMware assets to GCVE (Google Cloud VMware Engine) and other cloud environments using Agile methodology. Managed the compilation and review of over 600 servers, collaborating closely with the GCVE migration team to address constraints for VMs requiring migration to GCP/Azure. Developed and proposed interim solutions for challenges related to AD, EIAM, Splunk, CyberArk, Cisco VoIP, and Qualys, including technical limitations and support issues. Created tailored technical solutions and cost estimates for server deployment across various cloud platforms and identified applications needing VMware license renewals. Leveraged extensive knowledge in Retail and Banking, particularly in Market Risk and Security, and applied expertise in IT technologies (including Google Cloud), project management, and development methodologies to drive successful project outcomes. Cisco Identity Services Engine “ISE” allows only compliant and trusted endpoint devices, such as PCs, Laptops, and Registers, onto the network, restricting the access of noncompliant devices, and thereby limiting the potential damage from emerging security threats and risks. NAC improves Sears the current network resilience.

Successfully implemented newly purchased IBM PureFlex system that could handle the entire existing VMware vSphere 5.x load (~445) plus the P2V of additional machines (~122).
