As Chief Operations Officer I was responsible for overseeing all activities related to researching, designing and developing growth strategies. MDconnect is a medical management services business designed to create practice environments that are efficient, profitable and sustainable. Advancing health and care to enable our clients to achieve work-class clinical, financial and quality performance. By integrating people, process and technology, we help our clients improve workflow efficiencies, meet organizational metrics and control their cost to collect. Company was sold 1/2023

VP of Sales, miEdge 8/ 2019 to 4/202. Data has become the richest commodity surpassing oil in value. mIEdge is loaded with information used before meeting with a prospect. It is the greatest data analytics designed specifically for the insurance industry I have witnessed in my many years in the industry. The company was sold to Zywave and my position was eliminated.

Regional Director, ProHCM. 11/1/2016 to 2/1/2019. Recruiting agencies across the country to become part of ProHCM, a Human Management Company. ProHCM handles compliance, HR, HRIS System, Benefits Enrollment, Employee Loans, Payroll, Benefits Administration, Wellness, Marketing and lead generation, etc. ProHCM is also a reseller of Microsoft CRM.

Senior Sales Executive, Large Group Walton Insurance Group. 10/1/2015 to 10/15 2016. Was brought on to compete in the large group space, 100+, as well as restructuring the benefits department. I evaluated current technology and brought forward technology needed to compete in the large group space. Developed relationships with ADP and Ultimate Software. Outsourced day to day HR functions, created a relationship with local Benefits Attorney, developed employee communication programs to improve employee engagement, brought on claims analytics program designed after Dee Edington, PhD and his book Zero Trends, Health as a serious Economic Strategy. President, The Brokers Broker and Wellness Brokers 4/1/2012 to 8/1/2017. At The Brokers Broker I help Employee Benefits Brokers win/retain clients with outside-the-box products. Maximize brokers relationship with C-Suite Executives and Human Resource Directors and their employees. Introduce new non-insurance related products/services to brokers. Add new solutions to a benefits broker value proposition. At Wellness Brokers we train brokers to use our wellness marketing strategy to open doors and sell wellness and employee benefits. Every broker we trained had new annual sales in excess of $100,000. I also write a monthly column in HIU called “Outside the Box Products". I sold the company in 2017.

Regional VP East Coast, Self-Health Network, Sep 2009 – April 2012. Based out of San Francisco, I was the east coast Regional Vice President. SHN was an online worksite wellness program. My clients were both brokers and direct employer sales. During this time I became a certified wellness instructor for NAHU and presented the NAHU continuing education wellness class throughout the country.

Vice President, The Campbell Group, a $20M insurance company, 2000 to 2009. Developed new business and maintained relationships to renew current business. Recruited and trained top performing sales and customer support talent. In my 9 years I generated between $123,000 and $325,000 of new business each year. 1.65 million dollar book of business. Sold PEO services.

President, Michigan Group Benefits / Hodges & Associates, a start-up company, 1991 to 2000. Full P&L ($2.3 million) for this benefits and insurance start-up. Recruited, hired and trained inside sales and 1099 sales reps. Managed top sales team of nine. Sold company to Campbell Group and remained on payroll as Senior Sales Executive.

Sale of Start-up. Started company and successfully developed high revenue client base for Michigan Group Benefits, making it one of the top producing firms in the industry. Identified potential buyers and negotiated favorable sale of business to Campbell Group. Asked by ownership to remain on as VP of Sales to ensure successful service integration.
