Seeking Position as a Surgical Technologist
With 20 years of surgical tech experience, I am looking to secure a new position. I have worked in various facilities and enjoy contributing to a team approach. My qualifications include two recent travel assignments, 18 months in Portland, nearly two years at my previous facility, seven years of employment at Phoebe Sumter, two years teaching experience at the technical college level, one year at a level-one trauma center, four years of healthcare travelling, and an Associate degree. I am also a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. While I have not held a title in sterile processing, my education covered the basics of it and I have been involved with instrument decontamination and reprocessing at most of my previous workplaces. I have enjoyed lending a hand in the Sterile Processing Department at previous jobs and am able to multi-task and work independently equally as well under time pressure and in a group.
