Contract for Mechanical/HVAC Installation and Equipment:
THIS CONTRACT is made and entered into this day of, by and between Sascha Meinrath and DH Mechanical (Darryl Hardy) for the installation of an HVAC system for Homeowner Of Property located at 2617 Garfield St NW, Washington, DC.
Description of Services
This contract pertains to the services and equipment required for a complete HVAC installation at 2617 Garfield St.
Scope of Work & Equipment
Install new duct work (supply and return) on second floor. Also, install 4 ton 16
seer Bryant air handler and heat pump. NEST thermostat.
Install new duct work (supply and return) in the basement. Also, install 3 ton 16
seer Bryant air handler and heat pump. NEST thermostat.
Includes ten-year warranty on parts and one year labor maintenance.

Permit and inspections
Pull DCRA permits and be present for all inspections.
DCRA will calculate permitting fees, this fee is to be paid by the client.
All performed labor will be code approved
All performed labor will be inspected and passed by a DCRA or 3rd party inspector.
Timeline of work
The work to be performed under this contract shall be commenced upon receipt of deposit and notice to proceed.
The timeframe for the installation of the HVAC system shall be completed in 30 days or less from the date of commencement.
If start date is delayed or end date is delayed due to no fault of mine or an act of God. DH Mechanical will not be held liable.
DH Mechanical DOES NOT BEGIN WORK UNTIL THE DEPOSIT HAS BEEN PAID AND CLEARED .
Contract Amount
Sascha Meinrath agrees, Binds and obligates him/herself to pay DH Mechanical the sum of *$34,500 together with any additional cost, of any, including, but not limited to, amounts for change orders, extra work, etc...
The Homeowner agrees to provide, for the use of the contractor in providing the services, the following resources: Electrical power, running water, and clear and reasonable access to the site.
Upon the expiry of termination of this agreement, the homeowner will return to the company any property, documentation, records, or confidential information which is the property of the company.
DH Mechanical Shall Complete all the work as specified and generally described above. All additional work outside of this contract will be written and stated, that includes change orders, free work, work for trade, etc.
The homeowner shall pay amount stated above* in accordance with the following schedule:
Pay Schedule
1st Payment: Before start of work: $25,000 to buy necessary equipment
2nd Payment: $9,500 due upon completion of work and a passed mechanical inspection for the work.
Grand Total: $34,500
By signing you approve the above contract amount and terms of payment.
