Managing the JV- PMV department and direct its day-to-day activities of providing
vehicles, heavy equipment, plant, machinery and tool requirements to the various areas in the project.
Efficient management of the JV’s assets, supervise the operations in the PMV
workshops and review/negotiate equipment rental rates.
Update records of each asset, including maintenance, repairs, spare parts, registration and renewal
of JV vehicles with the traffic department.
Mobilization and demobilization of all heavy-duty earthmoving equipments, tower cranes,
generators, passenger hoists, placing booms and cradles.

Worked as Hyundai Motor India in PDI (pre-delivery inspection) section in one year. Ensuring
that quality pre-delivery inspections are done will improve initial quality and customer satisfaction.
Enhancements have been made to the pre-delivery inspection process to help improve initial quality.
Remember, a careful inspection is critical.
Check the engine and other items in the engine bay
Check if every dipstick, plastic cover, and wiring is present and properly attached. Check that all fluids -
transmission fluid, engine oil, coolant, brake oil, power steering oil, windscreen water, and battery water are
at optimal level. Ensure there are no leaks from the engine, gearbox or driveline which allow oil to drop onto
the road surface, exhaust system or break. Check that engine or transmission mounts are secured
Check Seat belts mirrors and horn
Ensure that all seat belts are securely fastened to their mountings.
Make sure rear view mirrors provide a clear view of the road to the rear of the vehicle.
Ensure light commercial vehicle is fitted with an external rear vision mirror on each side of the vehicle.
Ensure the horn works.
Check Vehicle exterior, doors, windows, body works, trailer coupling
The operation of all doors and windows, door locks, latches paint shade, dents etc and ensure that all inside
and outside door latches, controls or hinges are secure and functional.
Check Transmission
Check Transmission.
On automatic transmission ensure vehicle cannot be started in any gear position other than park or neutral
Check there are no oil leaks from the gear box or driveline which allow oil to drop onto the road surface.
Check Brakes
Check braking system components ensure that brake pedal plate has a cover and that the pedal or handle is
not broken.
Check brake Pedal does not travel to the floor when pressure is applied. Ensure the parking ratchet or
locking device is holding the parking brake lever in its applied position.
Check Wheel and tyres
Visually inspect each wheel.
Check tyre placard fitted to the vehicle.
Ensure that no wheel or rim is cracked or has pieces of casting missing or is buckled.
Make sure the tyre or rim does not foul any component at any point over its full range of travel.
Check for any missing, loose, broken or cracked spokes.
Check tyre pressure.
Pre-Test drive Checks
Fluid locations (and levels), lids secure, no apparent leaks or drips.
Tire pressures
check the gas cap. If this is loose your check engine light will light (and stay lit for some time).
Check function of heater & AC; make sure both work, even in the "off" season.
No odd noises
Car tracks well (alignment issues)
