o Transcanada, Canaport Energy East Marine Terminal LNG Project, St. John, New Brunswick – Conceptualization of design criteria and construction specifications for cast in place concrete, precast concrete, concrete reinforcing, structural steel, grouting and coatings o BG Group, Prince Rupert LNG Project, Ridley Island, BC – Initial planning of pre-FEED stage, new LNG export terminal that involved structural design of some alternatives for a two-terminal port, concrete load platforms and variations of concrete, steel-concrete and steel trestles 1.3 km long. Detailed design of steel trestle running lateral piperacks on concrete pilecaps on steel piles up to 1.8 mts in diameter. o Woodfibre LNG Project, Howe Sound, BC – Oversight of pre-FEED and FEED stages of new LNG export terminal involving structural design of mooring system for the floating storage and offloading unit (FSO) service ramp and access gangway tower to berth and offload LNG to LNG carries (LNGC) with 125,000cum to 170,000 cum
o Burnside Marine Terminal, Burnside, LA, USA – Keen evaluation and design of four conveyor transfer towers for the conveyor loading system, built using structural steel and concrete foundations. o Enbridge Northern Gateway Pipelines Inc., Kitimat, BC – Serving as FEED structural engineer for the marine scope of a green field crude export and condensate import facility with two tanker berths capable of handling Aframax to VLCC vessels and a utility berth for tug and spill response operations. o BHP Billiton’s Potash Port in Vancouver, Washington, USA – Active involvement in the development of a concrete railcar dumper pit for transportation of the bulk material coming from the mine site and development of five transfer towers for the conveyor system, including tripper car conveyor to feed the storage building. Structural design of quadrant beam for ship loader, using concrete beams and pile caps on steel round piles 40 cm in diameter.
