Description: Inpatient Psychiatry

To conduct and document periodic observation rounds for some patients every 15 minute, while for some others every 5 minutes to, checking for normal breathing and patients’ activity per time.

To go over unit rules with patients after admission, after violation of unit rules and redirect patients who violate unit rules

To supervise structured activities for patients- hygiene time, mealtime, group activities, phone time, etc

To identity early behavioral changes that indicate an impending crisis and intervene as early as possible to avoid breakdown of order and n the units.
