I provide leadership, program and project management, and operational execution of business process improvement efforts, including Lean and Six Sigma, in an IT service, manufacturing, transaction services or supply chain context. As Associate Director, and Master Black Belt, in the Lean Six Sigma continuous improvement program for Kraft Foods Group Inc., I “learn” (always learning), “do” and “teach” as we developed our corporate capabilities. I was the Work Process Improvement Pillar Leader for Kraft in the TPM-based IL6S program. This work seeks out sources of waste and loss and eliminates them both on the production floor and in the back-office transaction. I co-developed, and delivered executive awareness, education and training to all levels of the customer service, information systems, production and logistic operations on Lean, Six Sigma and Problem-Solving techniques.

I also provided personal development, leadership, personal coaching and mentoring support to Black Belts, and functional executives, who managed projects and operations on a daily basis. I provided program management of more strategic end-to-end process initiatives, such as Value Stream Mapping with Customers like Dollar General (helping Kraft win a supplier of the year award), and programs that supported the company’s strategic objectives. This work ensured the alignment vertically within the organization, as well as, horizontally as ‘extended-enterprise business architecture’ with customers, suppliers and other 3rd party service providers. I developed strategy and provided tactical direction for the establishment of Program Office processes, procedures.

I was awarded the CEO Award based on my dedication and efforts as coach and teacher, and an inaugural Leader-As-Teacher award, helping lead our Lean Six Sigma effort, which has generated more than $200 million in annual productivity savings, fueling further Kraft investment in its great brands and great people.
