• Placing facility id bracelets on each migrant once begin stage of process has been started.

• escorting migrants to next step of facility processing which is medical clearance.

• Finally escorting migrants to appropriate pod . Where migrants will stay until the additional process will be completed .

Virtual Processing Duties:

• CBP AGENT provides a lists of migrants that need to be picked up from pods and taken to Virtual Process

• Migrants that are waiting for Virtual Process must be escorted to rest room and return back to Virtual Process to waiting for this process to be completed.

• Once process has been completed migrants will be escorted back to pods where they have been assigned too.

Pods Duties:

• Keep visual contact on migrants to make sure they are safe and not in any type of harm. example: fighting with each other, hoarding food that will spoil and make them ill such as milk or other items that do not have an extended shelf life, depression due to situation. Assist migrant with basic needs:

• Feeding time duty: make sure every migrant gets in line to be fed.

• Sudden Illness : migrants are escorted to medical as soon as possible for appropriate medical care.

• Bathroom: making sure bathroom has everything a migrant would need if he or she needs to go to bathroom

• Shower Time: Notifying and encourage Migrants to shower .

• Getting migrants lined up and ready to showers.

• Answer basic question if you can . If not address CBP Agent with migrants concern Leaving Processing Center:

• CBP gives you list and migrants are picked up from appropriate pod and escort to designated area where they will be departing

• When arriving to pod pick migrants and encourage migrant to bring all belongs except food.

• Entrance Control – The CSO shall enforce the DHS’ entry and identification system. This includes operating security screening equipment for prohibited items (e.g., cameras, cell phones, weapons, and explosives.) CSOs shall ensure all carriage items are properly screened to include handbags, backpacks, briefcases, computers, baby carriages, strollers, wheelchairs, and all other packages entering the building. Detected prohibited items shall be immediately brought to the visitor’s attention, and are to be confiscated (e.g., illegal weapons) or given back to the individual for removal from the premises before entry is allowed. Depending on the local governing rules of the facility, the visitor may be permitted to store non-dangerous items on site and will be directed to the assigned designated area (only if that is the current practice for that facility) and retrieved by the visitor upon their departure.

• Stationary Post Assignments - The CSO shall man DHS authorized stationary posts. Assignments include, but are not limited to: monitoring CCTV; duress alarm systems and other security equipment; courtrooms; judge chambers; and jury rooms. However, CSOs shall not monitor cellblocks or handle and escort prisoners.

• Courtroom Performance Requirements –CSOs may occasionally be assigned to provide courtroom security during hearings. This assignment would be to provide crowd control and to maintain the integrity of the judicial process. Additionally, the CSO shall ensure that all closed courtrooms are secure; inspect courtrooms prior to proceedings; test security devices and report the findings to the COR; and perform other duties concerning security of the court area.

• Preserve Order - The CSO shall provide security presence in the courtroom, enforce federal law and judicial orders within the courthouse, enforce local court rules regarding prohibited items, and provide protection to court proceedings as circumstances dictate.

• Monitor all Canastas and client equipment; guard against loss or damage; report any such loss or damage immediately to a supervisor or manager.

• Perform necessary work regardless of weather conditions.

• Log in Property Pass numbers for authorized property/equipment movements.

• Ensure the security of government property, detaining personnel using the mantrap when needed, and reporting anyone involved with unauthorized property/equipment removal.

• Conduct regular patrols and inspections of buildings and facilities

• Issue required badges or passes to authorized personnel.

• Monitor electronic access control and report violations

• Monitor radio-frequency identification (RFID) systems and respond to alarms indicating unauthorized removal of government property.

• Grant access to areas during non-working hours to authorized personnel in accordance with the established procedure and access lists.

• Monitor facility equipment and utility systems and report deficiencies to personnel responsible for repairs.

• Perform random surveillance of buildings for the detection of unauthorized or inappropriate activity.

• Perform random surveillance of fence line for breaches and the detection of unauthorized removal of government property, illegal or inappropriate activity.

• Provide additional security support for scheduled events that may occur during or after duty hours or for unscheduled emergencies as requested by supervisor

• Maintain activity logs and administrative documents as required by contract.

• Contact, assist, and cooperate with local, state or federal law enforcement; locate, retain and protect necessary evidence; testify as necessary in judicial and administrative proceedings.
