The project involved migrating a system based
on IBM mainframe solutions to Salesforce. I
guided the integration of various systems,
including Penfax, Kofax, and custom solutions,
into the Salesforce platform using RESTful
interfaces.
Architected a solution to migrate 52 million files from IBM's FileNet system to Box Cloud,
successfully mitigating potential data loss for
the client. I conceptualized and presented a key
Proof of Concept (POC) for converting file
annotations to PDF annotations, which led to its
successful implementation.
Using core Java, I developed the POC by
integrating Box Cloud API, Simflofy, and IBM
FileNet.
I collaborated with the NYCERS Deputy
Executive Director to understand requirements
and ensure the successful execution of the
project.
As an Integration Architect, I assisted in
designing integrations between various third-
party systems and the Salesforce ERP solution.
The third-party systems included Box Cloud,
Penfax (a cloud-based retirement management
system), and the Kofax Image Scanning system.
My core technology was Salesforce Apex Code,
although I had no hands-on involvement in Apex
coding.
I collaborated with a Canada-based team from
Pentax to set up a cloud infrastructure for
running Jasper Reporting tool for letter
generation. Additionally, I worked with the Kofax
team to integrate their solution with Box Cloud
Content Management system.
I collaborated with the offshore team to help
them understand the tool's functionality,
bridging the gap between their business
understanding and guiding them to leverage the
tool effectively in building the solution.
