Project : SU Regression

Role: Team PoC.

SU Regression team was a new team formed to complement the existing Multimedia test team to perform Daily Regression. The Regression cycle at Qualcomm for Multimedia for a release was around 3 month and multiple issues were creeping in after the regression is complete as the release date approached. And most of them are due to the fact that all multimedia (Audio, Camera, Camcorder, QTV, Streaming) are interlinked. And it was the job of the SU regression team to find these issues after the integration build is delivered before handing over to the Multimedia test team.

Coordinate with Multimedia Team and Prepare Updated Testcases for SU Regression

Distribute the tasks among SU Team members to complete the SU Regression in the same day.

Report the Defects to the Development team and the integration team and get appropriate CR’s raised.

Coordinate with Integration team to get the builds released on time to the SU Regression team.

Consolidate the Teams Test results and prepare final release report to get the build released.

Coordinate with the Materials team and make sure all are using the correct versions of the Hardware and Firmware before starting the tests.

Execute QTV and Streaming tests.
