Work Experience
November 1983-1989 worked for Jefferson Pilot an agent (worked with my father until he retired from Jefferson Pilot after thirty years)
May 1989-June 2001 went to work with New York Life as an agent. I made Executive Council my first year with New York Life. I received numerous awards throughout my career with New York Life VUL leader (Variable Universal Life) Disability Income Leader, Team Leader, etc. In 1985 I obtained my 6 and 63 Security’s License and have been active in VUL sales in the estate planning market and the medical community.
July 2001 I accepted a position with All State as a Financial Specialist This position involved direct selling of Security Products to current All State clients and training agents on all financial products.
January 2006 I accepted a position with RBC USA as management of the existing agents. I assisted with the sales process of securities and life sales with 22 agents RBC was sold in June of 2011.
August of 2011 I opened a property and casualty agency in Florence with two other partners. We sold the business in November of 2014.
July 1 2016 I accepted a position with United Healthcare I was active in the senior market and chronic illness selling advantage plans and Medicare Supplement plans .I Resigned on June15 2021
Civic Activities
Florence Rotary- I have been affiliated with this organization for 15 years.
Florence Country Club- I have been a member of the Florence Country Club for the past twenty nine years during this time I served on various committees.
Chamber of Commerce-Member of the Chamber for several years (during this time I held various positions within the Executive Committee)
Personal History – I have been married for 31 years. I have 3 children: two boy’s age: 30 and his wifeage28 and 2nd son age 28 and a 23 year old daughter. I enjoy golf, boating, fishing, hunting and USC football games. My wife and I are socially active within the community
