GOLF OPERATIONS SUPERVISOR (PART-TIME / 20-25/HR WEEK) OCTOBER 2008 – PRESENT

Operations

• Under the direction of the General Manager, responsible for Managing and Supervising all aspects of golf operations.

• Supervise and Schedule 40+ part-time and seasonal employees in the following positions: Supervisors, Starter, Ranger, Cart Barn services and Pro Shop Cashiers.

• Assist in interviewing and training of all new employees, which includes an orientation of the golf course and each positions responsibilities.

• Responsible for daily tee sheet management and guest member services

• Reconcile sales receipts daily.

• Produce monthly and yearly reports of the golf operation to the General Manager.

• Manage the pro shop sales, inventory and purchasing (which includes balancing out the merchandise for both men & women).

• Relationship with top name brand suppliers such as Titleist, Foot Joy and Antigua.

• Tasked with going to local retirement communities and organizations to start and manage golf leagues.

• Currently manage and supervise 10+ golf leagues (male & female, both 9- & 18-hole leagues with numerous formats).

• Assist the General Manager in employee reviews and disciplinary procedures.

• Coordinate, Manage & Supervise all High School Practices, Matches and Tee-time / Shotgun Golf Outings

• Any other operational duties that are assigned.

Sales

• 48,000 rounds of golf per year

• Increased revenue over the past 3 years (2021 – $1.6m / 2022 – 1.8m / 2023 – 2.2m).

• Annual Pro Shop net sales in average of $22k.

• Helped create the yearly rewards program for frequent golfers.

• Work closely with the golf course restaurant to help expand the food & beverage service, including the allowance of alcohol on the course.
