I am a holder of a Bachelor degree in Analytical Chemistry. I have over 6years experience in the oil and gas industry concerning laboratory management and in-depth knowledge in analytical instrumentation for analysis of complex petroleum products. I am very versatile which makes me adapt to any field of laboratory operations and technical report writing. • Receives, examines, and records through a login process, inbound samples for testing.

• Monitors the availability of supplies needed for testing processes and makes any needs for such supplies known to the Laboratory manager.

• Ensuring occupational health and safety standards among work.

• Conducting full test and analysis on crude oil, gasoil and other petroleum product according to ASTM methods and IP methods. These tests includes Density, Sulphur content, Water by Distillation, Color, Flash Point, Cloud and Pour Point, Viscosity, Micro Carbon Residue, Particulate Contamination etc.

• Perform analysis on potable and effluent water and run OCM for lube oil.

• Reviews results against specifications and known expectations.

• Verifies and communicates results obtained, and make appropriate entries into calibration records, laboratory worksheets and any other media required assuring validity and traceability of the information.

• Maintains documentation, equipment and work areas in a neat, orderly and safe condition.

• With sufficient proficiency shown and documented, able to assists in the training of less experienced employees.

Platon Gas Oil Ghana Ltd- January 2016 to 2020-Lab Chemist Platon Gasoil (www.platongasoil.com) is a privately owned oil refinery managed by foreign investors located at Tema Heavy Industrial Area.

Key Responsibilities:

• Planning and organizing daily work schedules for all quality control tests in the refinery.

• Supervising sounding and calculating quantities of Crude Oil on-board vessels prior to discharge and after discharge.
