Previous Employment

●Production Trainer/Assembler

(11/20-05/21)

I was employed through Hiregenics at the Abbott facility in Gurnee. We manufactured the BinaxNow rapid result covid test through the height of the CoronaVirus Pandemic. My job title and starting position was a Material Handler. I continued to show excellence and progressed to a training position. Me and my team were responsible for onboarding the daily applicants and training groups of 70-80 new hires. The plant manufactured these tests at an accelerated rate (sometimes 600 or more an hour) and our duty was to show applicants the fastest way to do so. After instructing we made efforts as a team to upkeep the goal training and improve upon it. I was employed here for six months up until they dissolved the entire project laying the entire facility off over the Memorial Day weekend.

● Assembler to Line Lead

(3/20-09/20) I began employment at this location through a staffing agency as an assembler. Through some time as an assembler I was recognized for having a focused and productive work mentality. I developed good relationships with my coworkers as managers to a point where I was considered for a lead position, which ended up taking. My daily duties were to obtain the daily orders. Set up the production lines so that my team could manufacture the products to expectation for the purchaser. Find out the location that the fork lift drivers would take the finished product. Get my team to the work location on time and ensure they were working the entire shift, as well as assisting any of my team members with issues they encountered throughout the shift. When the shift ended I would tally up the day’s total output, the hourly output total and then clean up my lines plus taking out all the day’s waste production. My employment ended in September of 2020.

● Temporary Employment/Walmart Remodel

(10/19-02/20)

I took part in an overnight remodel of the Fountain Square Walmart in Waukegan. My jobs were to set and fill stock and retrieve materials and palletize storage containers. I unloaded and loaded large shipping containers with a Pallet Jack and spotted the Forklift driver when necessary.

●Hotel Maintenance Man

(04/20-10/20)

As the senior maintenance man I had many responsibilities. I headed all major calls and major projects while directing the other part time maintenance men on what to do. I was also to check the pool chemistry daily as well as take out all trash in the building. I also responded to daily maintenance calls from the front desk while interacting with and assisting guests when needed.

●Machine Operator

(11/17-05/18) As a machine Operator I worked with raw material, hard cleansers and hot plastics. My duties included loading batches of 400lbs of feather into a washer/dryer while unloading the cleaned feathers into bags from the previous load.

(03/17-07/17) At Container International I did injection molding. My duties included initiating the mold, monitoring the machine for any jams, inspecting the product for any imperfections or cracks and finally packaging the product based on the quantity desired.

Data Entry Clerk

(08/12-01/21) I worked as a data entry clerk for my father’s Residential Appraisal business since I was 14 years old. This would entail, gathering all relevant and up to date data on the property from our online search engine. Creating a folder and active file for the property in the computer program we used. Entering in all relevant information to the property’s file that was available throughout the appraisal process. Updating and adjusting any information that applied throughout the Appraisal process. For the finished product I would ensure all the information entered was accurate, the appropriate addenda were in the file before submission. I would communicate with my boss (IE father) before submission to make sure all information was correct and there were no updates. At this point my duties were complete and I’d start the next file.

Personality

I pride myself on being easy to work with and hard working as well. I take my work seriously and I am open to improvement. I have natural leadership qualities and strive hard to be punctual. I’m slow to anger as well as getting frustrated. I have the ability to bring people together and troubleshoot as I go. I take initiative when no one asks because I see it’s needed. I act and think at the same time and do things right the first time. I pay attention to direction and speak up when I’m uncertain. For all these reasons I know I’m capable of greatness

Line Lead major duties

●Responsibilities As a Line Lead at Visual Pak I was responsible for 20-30 people a day. I marked what time they got there, when they went to lunch and when they got off. I ran very delicate and meticulous line/s that required me to be very attentive to detail and very active in the assembly process. I gave encouraging but firm feedback to my workers and did rotations to make sure that everyone got a fair workload. I worked closely with QA to ensure the quality of the products produced was up to the clients requirements. I worked with the forklift drivers through radio to ensure the products necessary were brought to my line/s in a timely manner so that my lines never stopped production. I kept track of the daily output and the quarterly output/rate (every two hours for an eight hour shift) and recorded this in a daily output summary. I used an Intermec scanner to assign pallets to my lines, check product location/quantity and print labels for finished pallets. I also worked with the NAV logistics computer program to move pallets systematically from warehouse bin locations to my line/s when necessary.

Data Entry Clerk 2012-2020

●Responsibilities: My father, my mother and I run a family based residential real estate appraisal business. For the last eight years I have written the majority of my fathers reports. I work with the WinTotal Appraisal Desktop to write these reports and the online MLS and Remine tax assessment services for the data. I gather all online information available for the subject property and create folders to document it in. I then write the report off of this online information and data from the inspection. I enter the order information, complete market surveys, create sketches and enter comparable sale data. I would handle my own billing statements for my services and occasionally submit these finished reports to my father's clients.

Modular Setter/Palletizer 2019-202

Responsibilities At SSR we handled grocery store/dollar store/super store remodels. As a team we relocated products from one aisle to another while setting products in their new location based on planograms. We did this for food, clothes, stationary, sporting goods etc. etc. until the entire remodel was complete. My other duty at this job was to retrieve needed materials from shipping containers and palletize products needed to set up displays.
