As the CFO I was involved in forecasting, planning and maintaining the client’s financial health. In addition, as the CFO I develop the accounting/finance teams and ensure operational effectiveness for all team members.

Additionally, I served as the financial expert and communicated and interacted with several entities as they analyzed, interpreted, and delivered comprehensive analyses of financial results to the executive leadership team and the board of directors. I work closely with accountants and regulators to ensure compliance with accounting methods and regulations.

In addition, I paid tremendous attention to the client’s financial statements and assets position throughout the year.

I was responsible for enhancing the accuracy of the company’s reported financial results and ensuring that reported results comply with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)or international financial reporting standards (IFRS).

Additionally, I performed the following duties as a Controller:

As a QuickBooks Certified ProAdvisor, I have more than 27 years of experience in public accounting and government auditing. Looking for an opportunity in a growing company to help build the best accounting system in America, thus ensuring that your company has a competitive advantage. For example, a well-designed accounting system can give a company a competitive edge by providing timely and accurate financial information. This information can be used to make sound business decisions that improve profitability and increase profit margins.

As a Senior Auditor, I worked on the Base Realignment and Closure (BRAC) audit. The primary purposes of the audit were to: (1) reorganize its base structure to support our forces; (2) increase operational readiness and facilitate new ways of doing business more efficiently and effectively; and (3) increase the efficiency of the United States Department of Defense (DoD)by coordinating the realignment and closing of military installations following the end of the Cold War. Over 350 installations have been closed in five (BRAC) rounds: 1988, 1991, 1993, 1995, and 2005.

As a Senior Auditor, I ensured that contractors who were awarded government contracts did not violate the Federal Acquisitions Regulations (FAR). For example, to accelerate the adoption of its new technologies, the Department of Defense (DoD)invested billions of dollars into technology. The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) was awarded a contract to provide solutions to Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Marines who are integral to DARPA’s day-to-day decisions and long-range research efforts. As a result of the contract, the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA)adopted new technologies and worked closely with partners across the (DoD’s) Science and Technology (S&T) community.

As a Senior Auditor, I determined that the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) could not fulfill its’ mission of developing breakthrough technologies for national security without consistent broad support from Congress. Additionally, I determine that the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) congressional authorizers and appropriators sit on the Senate and House Armed Services Committees and the Appropriations Committees.

As a Senior Auditor, I obtained classified and unclassified transcripts of testimony provided to some committee members.
