Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Overseeing all aspects of Commercial and Residential construction: New, Rehab, Remodel, and Repurpose to include Estimating, Contractual Dispute Resolution, Labor Management of General and Skilled labor assessments; Site/groundwork, excavation preparation plumbing, electrical- HVAC rough-ins, tap outs and finish work; concrete form setting to finish flat work, metal or wood framing construction and erection drywall/painting and punchout work in related trade fields and their respected industries as well as horticultural industry acquisitions and performance. Conduct and perform safety, budget, investigatory, prevention, consultation, engineering and inspecton reports and meetings as well as customer meetings and consultation. Acquire inventory, tools, machinery, talent, and equipment acquisitions as well as schedule delivery, maintenance, and repair in all related aspects. Require that demo’d refuse is removed contained and disposed of properly by all subcontractors OTJ. Ensure all safety regulations from local, state, and federal institutions were being complied with as well as adhere to company policies of safety and best industry practices and enforce all such insubordination to our contractual obligations and responsibilities. Interpret blueprints, schematics, engineered plans, submit CIPs to related fields for recommendation, approval, and implementation for job-specific applications. Budget analysis, approval, and recommendations for contractors, specialists, work orders, equipment, and other Revolving orders of day-to-day business while supervising teams, employees, contractors, vendors, and temps on job sites.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Handling all telecommunications/ fiber aspects from CO to Premise from new construction/installation/repair, including troubleshooting POTS/FOS and dedicated networks in aerial/underground and confined space applications from manholes, pits, splice boxes, RT’s, mini-huts, cable vaults, and pedestals. Interpret aerial/underground plats for proper installation/ removal/ upgrade or wreck-out of cable-runs, poles, anchors, closers, sidewalk cross arm applications, re-routes/change outs or CIP submittal drawings of engineered plans for site revision and approval, ensure proper stenciling and identification of certain in field applications for industry standards. Maintain competent man certifications for excavation/aerial/underground and confined spaces from TEEX and or OSHA and ensure strict compliance with all such regulations are followed on all jobs in which I was certified. As well as to maintain all training in specialized fields of T1 & T2 circuitry to include boosters, amplifiers, suppressors, loads, etc. in various field applications concerning POTS/FOS splicing in OP operations. Install/repair all cabling ranging from single pair to 3000 pair applications in manholes, cable vaults, mini-huts, RTs, etc. in OP applications. Maintain watertight closers in aerial and underground applications to sealing cable ducts, and inner ducts, to minimize water intrusion/corrosion and weatherize and protect all Outside plant infrastructure from underground/aerial splice closers to underground lead sleeve applications for pulp splices to heated shrink-wrap pit applications. Ensure that all contractors' work was performed efficiently, safely, and in accordance with company and regulatory standards, and sign off on and submit all WOs in the JMOS system for vendor pay distributions.

Foreman Apr 1995 - Oct 1999

Henkel & McCoy- Robstown, TX

Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Overseeing a crew of 4-8 employees to install new or wreck-out existing utility construction applications for CPS and SWBT. Including POTS/FOS Op from fiber to the node, CO to Mini-hut or RV’s or premise. Install inner duct, manholes, poles, pedestals, anchors, closers, splice boxes, pads, RTs, mini-huts, and cable vaults including all other relevant applications in OF operations. Operated excavators, pressure diggers, center/corner mount boom trucks, pole trailers, winches, skid-steers, forklifts, and man lifts. As well as maintain class A CDL and truck logs, OSHA logs, and data sheets for all utility construction in aerial and underground installation and repair with competent man and aerial certifications of aerial lifts with over 300 hours in underground excavation and utility construction training.

Outside Plant Technician 1 May 1992 - Mar 1995

Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Interpreting blueprints and plats to locate manhole lids after repaving streets in order to raise manhole covers to proper street height by adding as many manhole rings as necessary while using tar and mortar applications in-between rings to seal the rings and weatherize the manhole, locate sewer breaks and install concrete/clay pipe collars, bells, or sleeves or like sections to repair sewer breaks, installation of new sewer mains and laterals and installation of manholes, operate pneumatic jackhammer/tamper for proper repair or installation in all outside sewer applications as well utilizing an asphalt rake and hot mix applications or trowel/finish hand tools for concrete flat work as the need for field and job completion, operate roller, skid steer, scrubber, front-end loader or mini-excavators or backhoe and operate dump truck as needed in field operations. Also received a class 1 wastewater operations license from TEEX as well as training in pumps, lift stations and pump motors, skimmers, belt houses, conveyor systems, dry beds, chlorination applications, biohazards, and laboratory testing analysis, and proper municipal/state/federal regulations training and tracking for waste management industry and compliance reporting for such State, Federal, Local, and municipal regulatory agencies.
