My main objection is to secure a Field Technician, Maintenance, or Installation Technician permanent position. Which will permit me to use the skills and other related knowledge acquired during experience in these job professions. I’m the son of a U.S veteran and I’m very confident

FIELD TECHNICIAN
. This position was a very detailed oriented position, responsibilities include reporting to the office daily for meetings and tools to complete task. Tools such as 12V Batteries, Power Tools, Hand Tools, Verizon moderns, Switches, Cameras and Crack Gauges.
. After reporting to the office technicians would head to sites mostly construction sites to Service, Install, Remove, Maintenance, and or Troubleshooting units placed on these sites. Each unit consist of a V12 battery, micromate, switch, sensor and a modern. Our job is to make sure these units are running smoothly, if not you must maintenance or troubleshoot the unit. Data collection, Climbing, bending, and crawling was also essential to the position.
. Working closely with foreman and supervisors on these sites, once or twice a week as a technician we would have to do photo inspections with a professional Nikon camera. Photo inspections include taking pictures of crack gauges on sites, monitoring gauges, installing gauges and occasionally removing crack gauges.
. Once task is completed as technicians we must log in everything we have completed into a app. Photos are uploaded on a computer at the office to clients files, so some computer work was also included into this position.

. Equipsystem is a company that specializes in disinfecting and cleaning hospital equipment throughout the New York City area and other states as well.
. As a technician we worked as a team and close with hospital staff such as nurses, doctors, security guards and biomedical technicians, to complete the task for the day.
. Our daily routine is to check and analyze each floor using our hospital iD for access, searching for dirty used equipment, such as IV pumps, SCD pumps, vital sign monitors, breast milk warmers, and feeding pumps. After collecting these machines we would sterilize and clean them, followed by bagging and tagging then place the items in a clean room.
. Also as technicians before cleaning and sterilization, we must analyze each equipment checking for expiration dates or malfunctions. If expiration dates or malfunctions are detected then these machines must be taking to biomedical staff.

. The company specializes in water treatment for cooling towers to prevent corrosion and diseases.
. The responsibilities as a technician consist of daily deliveries of corrosion prevention chemicals, adjusting the control board insuring chemicals are being pumped correctly in a timely manner. Also driving the company commercial vehicle, to different locations to deliver these chemicals.
. As a technician we worked closely with engineers at each location to complete the tasks, such as cooling tower disinfecting, cleaning cooling towers, and occasional troubleshooting. The position also required a lot of physical challenges climbing, lifting, crawling under small spaces, and bending was essential.
. As a technician we worked mostly alone but occasionally worked with a team depending on the task, for example removing and extracting chemicals from tanks, cleaning towers, and removing control boards.

. In this particular position we worked in a five man team along with a foreman installing solar panels, at residential locations.
. Our daily tasks consist of unloading trucks with panels, tools, pipes, and wires etc…. Also climbing 24 feet ladders, setting up roof tops for preparation of the panels. Hand tools such as drills, saws, screw drivers, wrenches, were used in this process for installation.
. Once rods and pipes were installed on roof shingles we would then manually lift panels to roof tops, once installed and secured low voltage wire work would be installed to complete the process of the installation.
. This company also provided their own trucks to drive to the locations, mainly to complete repairs and inspections. Repairs consist of climbing roof tops removing panels and micro inverters then replacing them with new micro inverters also known as O&M. Inspections consist of preparing for NYC inspections to inspect ground rods and electrical systems installed by the company.

. This position consisted of assembling wheel barrows, gas, electric and coal chimney cooking
grills, using tools such as screwdrivers and power drills.
. The position also requires traveling to different home depot locations along with co-workers
to assemble these items, this could be up to three stores a day.
. Assembling these items are completed individually one by one from each worker in a safe
environment in the rear of the store with all the tools needed to complete the task.

. Working as a hospitality Runner was a new experience for me, it is basically similar to the
assistant server position I did in previous years at the US. Open, but in a more expensive
restaurant inside the stadium.
. Basically the job consist of assisting my co-workers that are called butlers. Butlers deal with
the actual customers services, from serving food and beverages to cleaning.
My job as a runner was to help bring food and beverages from the kitchen, bring dishes
back to the kitchen, dispose garbage, also keeping coffee makers filled and ready to use. It was a lot of work but it was a great experience and the pay was also well.

. Working at the US. Open is a great experience, especially when you want to make extra
money. It's a seasonal job that has multiple positions that pays fairly well.
. It basically works as such, collect used dishes that is usually brought to you from servers and
assistants, stack them up neatly after cleaning the dish leftover food using sprinkler faucet.
. After that process is completed we operate a huge dishwasher, that can wash over 30 to 40
dishes at once. We then stack that dishes on the machines rods, which then carries the dirty
dishes into the washer after the process is completed it then comes out clean and ready to be dried and shelved.
