Where/When: UNDP Country Office, IDG Kabul; 01 Jun 2015 until present. Job Title: Senior Unarmed Guards Security Supervisor and Backstop to UNDP main Gate Security Reception and Backstop Radio Operators.

Responsibilities:

Security and Safety.

Responsible for Supervision of the overall 33 unarmed Security guards including 2 Female Security guards of the UNDP CO and UNDP/IDG Projects such as LOTFA Project and JHRA Project and report from their activities for Security Officer on daily and monthly basis

Supervise Internal Security guard force

Receive visitors to UNDP Compound and facilitate contact between visitors and Concerned staff members to facilitate entry

Receive all embassy doors from all embassies of the Kabul for weekly donor Meetings to UNDP CO and facilitate entry.

Inspection all guard’s locations

Arrangement and control of all security guards to all locations of the compound

Operation Room Responsibilities:

Scope of Work

Responsible for headcounts of personnel, radio check of international colleagues

Responsible for tracking movements of UNDP personnel and vehicles

Maintains radio contact with all UN stations under responsibility

Ensures efficient communication and information flow

Monitors that all equipment is in good working order and reports any issues

Performs any other communication related task as assigned by RR supervisor and security unit. 1- Responsible for headcounts of personnel, radio check of international colleagues

Daily/Evening radio checks with UNDP International personnel between 1800-2100 and send the International radio check report to UNDP Security Unit after the radio check has been completed.

All project offices where UNDP are imbedded must report to UNDP RRthe headcount of present UNDP personnel at the facility two times per day (at approx. 09:00 and 13:00). The radio operator on duty must log all headcount reports in the headcount report sheet and present the weekly report to Security Unit.

Keeps all necessary messages sent/received by the UN communications systems as strictly confidential. Failure to maintain this confidentiality may lead to administrative action.

Update the UNDP staff list/figures and send to UN-ID office on daily basis before 1200hrs.

Keep the UNDP bulk SMS updated and send bulk SMS advisory message when instructed by UNDP Security Unit. Reception Responsibilities:

Processing of Visitor Forms.

Effective mail management.

Receiving visitor requests from of all staff.

Coordination of VIP access with UNAMA security.

Processing the VIP requests forms after approval of RR and our security Colleagues.

Distributing approved visitor forms to the UNAMA-related security posts Register the visitors.

Providing escort for all VIP visitors/visitors and UNDP clients.
